However to make life easier for you, we have the following checklist that will help you take the next few steps.

  • Evaluate your own business and personal goals for starting this business.
  • Then contact us to get an initial introductory pack.
  • You could attend the Open House Event at our office or contact us for a detailed meeting.
  • You then submit a detailed application form for us to evaluate.
  • Once approved, we would sign the franchise agreement with you.
  • We then work out the execution time frame for training, installation of the equipment and launch plans.
  • You are now ready to lead this business and meet your goals.
We have two primary types of Franchise options available. The role of the Unit Franchisee (UF) is to run the refilling service through its retail store, and the
Master Franchisee is to help us develop and manage UF network.

As a New Franchisee, you need to attend a comprehensive training program prior to starting the business. The training program helps you understand the fundamentals of cartridge technology, operating the refilling equipment, refilling of various cartridges, and aspects of the retail store and business operations.

Our executive team and our industry experts actively participate in the training, helping you get an overall understanding of the industry, key trends in the refilling industry, the key players and the key business aspects like customer service to make your business successful. Our programs are comprehensive and are designed to help you succeed in your business. The program is between 4-6 days full-time.

We provide regular updates to help you stay on top of your business and industry trends. For Solitaire partners, we also provide training on direct business sales to help them engage with institutional customers.

The franchisees may come from very varied background and skill sets. The training program helps everyone to reach a common foundation, to provide a consistent and outstanding customer service. And of course, there is no separate charge for attending the franchisee training as per details provided in our franchise program.

We seek high visibility, high traffic and high footfall retail locations. The location should be convenient for consumers to access. The stores should have a wide frontage (greater than 10 feet), with high quality and well-maintained fixtures. The frontage should provide clear visibility of the merchandise inside. While selling to institutional customers could be a significant component of your revenue initially, the long-term foundation of our business is based on retail. And a good location is everything in retail.

We are keen to work with prominent stores in all the key shopping areas, and help them expand their offering thru cartridge refilling business. It is planned to avoid overcrowding of stores within a short distance, unless justified by the volume of business. This is to ensure the profitability of the franchise partner.

We offer 2 retail formats to run your business

  • A kiosk format for ink cartridge refilling franchise only, requires 15 sq feet of space in a prominent and uncluttered location within the store.
  • A shop-in-shop format for both ink cartridge and toner cartridge refilling only, requires 100 sq feet of space in a prominent and uncluttered location within the store.
Strong retail presence helps to also grow your institutional business. Small and Home office customers like to get their work done is a good quality retail environment. Also, a good consumer experience may also have some buyers shift their organizational business to your store.
